If you plan to travel to the United States while you are in Canada, ensure that you discuss this with your local immigration office to see if any additional paperwork is required before entering the US.
All participants in the SGBS program must have medical insurance prior to arrival. Medical insurance is the individual responsibility of each student. (Not required for online programs.)
Remember, when you are making your flight arrangements, that Victoria is located on Vancouver Island, west of the city of Vancouver, Canada and north of Seattle, USA. Therefore, make sure your travel agent knows that your final destination is Victoria and not Vancouver. Students who arrive in Vancouver will have to find their own transportation to Vancouver Island and the university.
