ISIBM How to Apply
ISIBM is open to undergraduate students. At the time of application, each student must be currently enrolled in a university/college that is officially recognized by the national government agency for education within their respective country.
Program Fees:
ISIBM A: July 3 – 24, 2025
- Program Fee: $5,950 + tax (Canadian dollars)
- Deposit with enrolment: $600 + tax (applied to program fee)
- Final Registration Deadline: June 14, 2025
- Canada Day Experience add-on – June 27 – July 2, 2025
- For an additional $660 + GST; ISIBM participants can add five extra nights of on-campus accommodation, airport pick-up and meal card to their enrolment and take part in the Canada Day festivities on July 1st.
ISIBM B: August 4 – 22, 2025
- Program Fee: $5,700 + tax (Canadian dollars)
- Deposit with enrolment: $600 + tax (applied to program fee)
- Final Registration Deadline: July 11, 2024
The application deposit must accompany each application and will be applied to the total program fees. The balance of the program fees will be due a minimum of 2 weeks before the start of the program.
The program fee includes:
- Tuition
- Course materials
- Activity program
- Meal card
- Orientation/City tour
- On-campus accommodation
- Graduation banquet

Under Canadian legislation, you do not need a student visa (study permit) to attend; however, you will need a letter of acceptance from the University of Victoria and a receipt for your tuition deposit before leaving your home country. You may be required to obtain a temporary resident visa in order to enter Canada for the term of study. You will be required to pay the full tuition fees by bank transfer in order to receive a Letter of Acceptance/Invitation.

If you plan to travel to the United States while you are in Canada, ensure that you discuss this with your local immigration office to see if any additional paperwork is required before entering the US.
English Requirements
ISIBM students are recommended to have at least an intermediate level of English which is the equivalent of IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 45. We do not require a language certificate, but if you are not sure of your English level please contact us for more information.
Credits
Before you register for the ISIBM program, you should speak with a representative from your respective faculty or registrar’s office to ensure that your home institution will recognize the ISIBM program for transfer credit. After completing the program, you will receive a letter of completion and an official academic record of grades from the University of Victoria Gustavson School of Business to give to your home school representative. However, securing credit at your home institution is your responsibility.
Visa Requirements
Students who are attending the ISIBM program from countries requiring a temporary resident visa to travel to Canada will need to apply a minimum of 2 months before the start of the program. Visa processing times can vary by country so apply early.
Refund and Cancellation Policies
If a student decides to cancel the following refund policy is in place:
July program:
Students who cancel up to June 6th, 2025 can receive a full refund of all fees paid minus an administration fee of $150 + tax.
Students who cancel between June 6th and the first day of the program can receive a refund of all fees paid minus the enrolment deposit of $600 + tax.
Non-attendance or withdrawal after the program start date will incur a full program fee.
August program:
Students who cancel up to July 11th, 2025 can receive a full refund of all fees paid minus an administration fee of $150 + tax.
Students who cancel between July 11th and the first day of the program can receive a refund of all fees paid minus the enrolment deposit of $600 + tax.
Non-attendance or withdrawal after the program start date will incur a full program fee.
**The University of Victoria reserves the right to cancel the program prior to the start date. In the event of cancellation, the university will return all deposits and tuition paid by the student at that time.

Scholarship
Gustavson School of Business recognizes that not all students are able to afford the ISIBM program fees. A limited number of partial scholarships are available. To apply, please fill out the scholarship application form and submit it by email to camilaestrada@uvic.ca by June 2nd for the final scholarship committee meeting.
