Dr. Sudhir Nair
Dr. Sudhir Nair’s research interests coalesce around firms’ international strategy. His current work involves examining how firms internalize new knowledge that they receive. In particular, he has been examining the role of external management consulting service firms to better understand why firms hire these professional service firms and how this interaction adds value. Prior to pursuing his PhD, Sudhir had 15 years of experience in large corporations (Citibank) and entrepreneurial entities that he founded.
Dr. Sang H. Nam
Dr. Sang H. Nam has been at UVic since 1992 and has shared his expertise in cross-cultural management, human resource management and organizational behaviour with hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students. His research and publications focus on comparing organizational behaviors between individualistic and collectivistic cultures, face-saving behaviour in Asia, and expatriate management.
Prof. Heather Ranson
Professor Heather Ranson joined the School of Business in 2004 and shares her background in tourism event planning, marketing and service excellence with students in the service management specialization in the BCom and the MBA programs. She also teaches business communications classes to Gustavson exchange students. In addition, Heather serves as associate director of the Centre for Social and Sustainable Innovation (CSSI) at the Gustavson School of Business.
